True and Faithful

Jesus is both true and faithful. The Bible is also true and faithful. Christians are to be true and faithful as well, true and faithful to both Jesus and the Bible. Christians are to always make sure that Jesus and the Bible come first before all other priorities in their lives, above everything else. They are to remain true and faithful, no matter what other people do.

It is a lot easier to talk about being true and faithful than it is to actually be true and faithful to Jesus and the Bible. Christians are still in the flesh. They still have a sin nature as well as a new nature. That sin nature is there and will try to bring a Christian down into sin.

Satan and his demons are also around as well. They would like persuade a Christian to commit sin. Nevertheless, God has not left the Christian defenseless. If you are truly born again, then you have the Holy Spirit. You have a new nature. You have fellow Christians to help you. You have the Bible. You have prayer.

You are to use the things God gave you to help you grow as a Christian. They will help you to remain true and faithful to both Jesus and the Bible. If you are truly converted, then you can do all things "through Christ".

If you are not yet born again, then please get this matter settled today. You have no promise of a tomorrow. You do not even have any promise of the rest of today. Don't trifle with eternity. Trust Jesus today!
